NO !!! ( I do not .... especially on you ! )
Right now thats sorted back to the 110 upgrade......
I was told that the general big bore kits have been always kind of hit and miss.
The barrels and pistons come from the factory with no matched set indication, ie these barrels have not been specifically machined to fit these pistons therefore the clearances are just a fluke if they are correct.
Sounds like you got a miss, and good on your bloke for picking up on it before the money started to run away on your nice new project in an avalanche of being disgruntled.
A shop in town told me the best way to go the big bore was to get the pistons and then machine out your barrels to the right tollerance. More costly but ultimately more sensible.
Look forward to seeing a pic of the new bike.
Thanks for posting ...good read HH
So would your motor be the same components as the standard motor in a cvo now
I don't mean to be rude Paul but could you explain Cvo pro street 2016 36k 2017 / 2016 breakout 28 / 30k put in stage 3/4 cost of 10k ok fast bike but the pro street has many many more good extra bits
Looks really nice H&H!
The bobcat really suits the breakout ????
The Bobcat looks good but I don't think it is enough pipe for your 110 mods.
I have a mate who has a 120R in his Breakout and the Bobcat is a chokepoint
I checked the D&D site at the time and I recall the Bobcat was rated for engines up to 103"
