Hey guys I've just purchased a 2013 fat boy Lo it's an American import there is no fob system fitted on bike only key lock dealer said not all American made models have these factory fitted is this correct??

He is indeed correct..Over in the states the security system is an optional extra...My Wideglide is the same and to me its one less thing I have to worry about...You can buy it and put it on yourself...I think it's just plug and play.

there is another recent thread (last month or two) on the subject where I posted part numbers and cost... not a cheap mod

I shifted my 2016 issue bike about the shed the other day and the bloody thing chirped at me .... even though I had the fob thingy in my pocket.
