Thanks for the input guys....
I know the guy (met him a few times) doing the repair work on the tank so I know with certainty that it will look micky mouse in the end..
I'll get the new bars next week and from there just save my bickies for the tank repair.
I can't really afford all the bling in a big splurge but that's the beauty of having a Harley as you can add bit 'n" pieces as funds become available and the other damage isn't too severe (apart from the tank) that you would have to be up real close and have a second look to find the faults. Even the dealer said I got off lucky with the limited damage from accident..
Oh, I forgot to mention...They also had a 2008 Fatboy 105th out the back waiting on a tank and has been there for a few months , so that's another Anniversay model to add to the list of injuried bikes.
