Hi All,

Anyone have hade any problems with the functionality of the Diamond Black Led Fuel Guage by HD? I ride a FatBoy S MY2016.

Whilst my trip computer and low fuel guage warning light on the speedo works perfectly fine and record the correct fuel level and range, the led lights on the HD Diamond Black fuel guage display somthing completely different. 

The dealer thought of simply replacing the part to resolve the issue, i then ran the bike to reserve to test it and whilst the trip computer is working fine and reporting the correct range, the low fuel light on the speedo lights up, the Diamond Black Led fuel guage on the other hand shows the tank as full?. Also when riding the bike the lights switch on and off intermittanly on the guage, this appears to occur only when I am below 1/4 tank full.

The dealer thought that the problem was due to a faulty part which was replaced, but the problem persists with the replacement.

By the way on the stock standard fuel guage the readings were fine on all instruments. Harley confirms that the Diamond Black lead light is compatable for my bike!!

Any ideas out there?

Have the same problem on a 2016 S model.

Acts up like it's on disco mode when the fuel gets low. Sometimes 6 leds, sometimes 4 or even 1, but nothing consistent to determine the true fuel level.

Silly me, it's barely the semblance of a fuel gauge. The price and country of manufacture (Germoney) had me thinking I was buying accuracy, 

Matt, Does your RH fuel cap top move around or rattle? IE keep the logo aligned in the same plane as the LH side "cap/gauge".

Dunno how to right the image.
