need some help .. my 1992 fatboy 1340 needs a new starter can i use a later model starter 1993 -94  thanks for any help 

Up to 1999 will fit

Yep Depending on what year you use you may have to change the main jackshaft bolt there's two different threads,
Or use a hilux starter and put your nose cone on it there a Nippon denseo starter

thanks for all your help .. looks like I can get a later one and if i have too use bits from my one to make it fit  .. and thats a good thing they are cheeper
