Here is an oil tank type I have not seen before.

    Pyrex heat-resistant glass.

Not a bad idea, you can easily see when your oil is dirty or the level is getting low.

It would be good to view when the oil turns to foam as well. :-)

    Maybe it would Lushy!

At least you can SEE imediately what is going on with your oil, even if it is getting pumped around like it should.

On the other hand it is there for everyone else too see as well, like hanging out your dirty washing..

I kind of like the see through oil tank. I remember a few of the old 2 stroke road bikes GT550 frinstance had a small external clear hose on the outside of the oil tank so you could easily see when the oil tank was running low.

    No excuses with this number.

LOL, they thought we were smart enough to leave the stand down when checking the oil, it is a PITA isn't it?. I think it looks cool, but it may well be impractical. I can brighten up the Bonny a bit if necessary :-). They respond well to headwork/cams etc. Cheers guys.

I could go the top of the tank glass, preferably a clear plastic, but as I have a couple stone chips in the front of my metal tank, I would pass on the whole clear tank

I do like the look of the clear oil tank, one day when I change my exhaust, I will put back on the RSD clear cam cover.
I would like to put on all the see through covers
my opinion, I would stick on as much see through as I could
