Hi all, first time on here and about to become first time Harley owner. I am after any comments about the 1991 Sturgis. I know there was only 1600 made and that may explain why I can't find any for sale. I am looking at one that is in fairly good nick and wondering if anyone could help with some estimates on what price I might offer to buy it for? It's in all original condition and done 24000 miles. Any comments about this model at all would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Chopaweeza. The bike has been registered in Aus for 10 years so must comply I guess. It looks stock compared to photos of other 91s and apart from some surface rust on some chrome is in very good condition. A mate thinks it may have a lumpy cam in it and rides well and has plenty of grunt still. Thanks for the reply.

10 or so years ago at a Shannons auction a 1991 FXDB Dyna Sturgis, in the crate, fetched around $25k!!
Having owned a 1981 FXB Sturgis from new and it is still 95% original, I was keen to get the 1991 but not at that price!!

Wow Sturgis, by in the crate do you mean just imported as a used bike or still new?

I think the 80-82 Sturgis attract a lot more nostalgic interest than the 91.
