Forgive me if this is an old trick that you all know about ! Just made a tool for cleaning the chrome around the drive train housing bolts. Simple just get a 6 inch length of copper pipe (copper being softer than chrome will not scratch it), cut one end to make a U shape. Wrap a microfibre cloth around it, use your preferred chrome polish on the rag and now you can get in around the bolts. Copper also works well for taking baked on rubber and other gunk off your exhaust because again being softer than chrome it should not scratch it! I have tried it on my V&H's and did work beautifully. Just rubbed a bit of Autosol chrome afterwards and came up like new. Do not try it with one of our old 1 or 2 cent pieces, like suggested on Google, very little copper in those and you will scratch your chrome. Again sorry if you all already know this shit.
