I see my rear pads are a little down and thought I might as well change them out now before summer.  07 fatboy is the ride but Im a bit confused re sintered or organic?  Did a bit of a search but not much help.  I dont ride like a race boy so dont need high performance I wouldnt imagine.  I would prefer low dust re the chrome solid wheels on the bike.  Also should I, if its even possible, get the discs dressed.  They are in good condition and can give them a bit of a touch up myself I would imagine with wet and dry, but just wondering if this is the done thing?

Any advice would be appreciated from the ones in the know.  Thanks.

+1 for Lyndall....pretty much a zero dust pad and great grip + wear. They are only $20-30 more than the Harley ones.

I have the lyndall xtreme pads on the rear of my chopper very good stopping power but make a lot of dust contrary to what lyndall says

I also find lyndall pads to be dusty and didnt last very long
I went back to DP pads
Half the price of lyndalls and just as good in my opinion
I only tried lindalls because of the feedback on them

I would not be getting the discs dressed/machined unless there is something wrong with them....and if there was it'd possibly be cheaper to just buy a new one anyway..

As for the pads, what is wrong with the stock HD ones? That is what I used on my 08 softail.

If you had an 08 Fatbob that would be a different story. The 2 that I have ridden had shithouse back brakes

    DP dunlop pads
    Been using them for years
A few of the shops around here have them for about $45

I recently put the EBC double H in rear of bike, and they are definite improvement from HD pads

Will see what happens with longevity,
