Aparrently they come set for between 80-110 kgs, but adjustment is really easy. The manual explains it in simple language for dumb cnuts like me.
They have 4 adjustments compression damping, rebound damping, ride height, spring preload.

Only thing I set was the sag up a bit, which is done by spring preload and mine seem good.

Yeah I know, all sounds too fucken complicated, I thought the same until I read manual.

Ive got these Ohlins as well. They're awesome, well worth the money. I got mine from Motorcycle Metal but I think Steve Cramer might have them now. Gotta make sure they are aligned correctly when fitting.
Now waiting for Ohlins to release Nix 22 cartridge for the mid glide Dyna. For some reason they have only made them for Wide Glides.

Ricor's Intimidators up front, Ohlins on the rear and Sputhe in the middle. Awesome shocks, got mine from Howard at Motorcycle Metal, well worth the expense.

Got home from a ride yesterday & one of the fork seals has blown, spewing oil everywhere so it looks like this upgrade is happening sooner rather than later

What is the standard length for the rear shocks?
    Is it 12"?

Just to throw another option into the mix. I went with a set of Legends Revo-a shocks in 13" I'm a big boy and once I dialed in the sag and rebound they transformed my 12' fat bob. I'm going to go with a set of wide glide tubes next (Thanks Chriso for the idea) and an Andreani cartridge kit. Ohlins are the best, just giving a slightly cheaper option. Mine were $1200 on my door in Tassie.

Those Ohlins cartridges would add adjustment to the front end though

I've never heard of the Wilbers, they look like a good option as well

Do ya reckon we need rebound with hi & low compression damping adjustments on this style of bike?

Maybe the shocks that are single adjustable are well & truly good enough

Yeah I unsure, depends on where you ride and how you ride I guess. Got to be a good thing I reckon.

I've had plenty of single adjustable shocks and they never been good enough for me.

I've settled on my set up after talking to Laurie at Suspension Smith in Fyshwick. He recommended the SP16 from IKON for the rear for circa $800 for the set, and a rebuild of the front forks using Racetek springs and gold valves. Fork oil and some Japanese oem fork seals set up for my weight and riding style will do the job nicely.

I reckon this is a very good approach for the $$, especially for those who can't justify having the very best option (Ohlins).

Yeah Laurie knows his shit, race tec are very good and are what I was originally going to do to the front.
