Mount Gay's popular down our way Ralfski. I expect it's a lot like Royal Swan rum which is another Jamaican rum imported only into Tassie for some strange reason.
My brother has(or had) a bottle of Mt Gay, I should bathe the tongue in it and see what it's like.
