Carnt tell you much about the actual shocks ... But from what I have been told one of the
Owners is a guy who had an engineering shop down Albion way here in Brisbane ,
Really nice guy , seemed to know what he was on about , did some nice work on one of my old
Z1000's back in the day .

Memory is pretty bad these days , I think his name was Paul Bussell , Bussell Engineering
    Don't quote though .

Have to say find it a bit strange Progressive Suspension getting such a bad rap from
Your local guy ... I can't fault them ... Of course there are far more expensive items out
There like the Fornellies , the French guy from Tassie ... And others but Progressive
Over standard any day for me .

Let's us know what you end up going with , cheers .

My local dealer had nothing good to say about Progressive or Ikons as well, Reading on the U.S Forums Progressive aren't what they used to be, I went with Bitubo pricey but worth every cent imho

Just fitted the Progressive front and rear on my Deluxe. Went the heavy duty but shouldve gone standard. The bike is now very stable when cornering over rough terrain.

A bunch of Sportster riders on this Forum seem very happy with using Ikon's. Worth a Google.

I take an interest as I want to go that route with my FXDF.

I have personally used the Gazi shocks on a few bikes and they seem very good, especially for the money. Nice fat shafts and clean crisp dampening adjusters. I have had to change the springs a bit on them, but overall I like them. Koni/Ikon are ok quality but are a bit rudimentary.

I actually have Ikons on my rocket i put them on primaraly to lower the bike, the ones i bought came 30mm lower than standard, i'm happy with them , I had progressives on my street bob and they shit themselves within 12 months ,, I don't know the guy said the cheaper Gazzi were better than the dearer others , and if you want to spend lots the dearer gazzi were real top of the range stuff
