Doing my first long trip in a few days and a mate asked me what sort of range I get out of my 07 fatty?  As I said first long trip so Im not really sure. Stock except for pipes and breather.  What mileage are you guys getting out there to give me some idea.  Wont be pushing it hard at all.??

    Thanks.

Mine did about 300 kms without issues on the highway at cruising speed. It was more of an issue getting up to stretch ahead of needing fuel

300 km fuel range is pretty normal, but wouldn't push it further than 310 - 320 km though, otherwise you might find yourself walking.

    Sitting on the speed limit 320 - 340 no problems, that's a stage 2 103.

Admittedly I have a bit of work done to mine and only get about 280 ... 08 FXSTC ... your fuel light will come on way before 300 that's for sure .

    Hi Binnsy.

My last ride to canberra. Recorded Litres / octane / cost/litre / cost / distances between stops.

    Averaged 5.2l / 100kms for 2900kms. $7.20 / 100kms using variety of 91 95 and 98 octane. Best 4.1l /100kms, worst 6l /100kms.

In calcs due to vast differences in $/L depending on location fueled up. Couldn't work out if 98, 95 or 91 gave better mileage / $

Tank 18.9l. Usually start looking around for fuel at 280kms but regularly get over 300kms out of tank.

    Hilly on the money.

They all diffrent , largely depending on the tune.

310 till empty on my stage 4
    290 on my 120r

I would think a stock bike would be getting more then what I'm getting.
