prices have dropped due to the increase of bikes available and the fact that companies like indian and Victory are making a very reliable ride that people are buying , makes selling your Harley harder again..

I love my 2008 Dyna and wont be selling it ever!!

If anything Ill be building a cafe racer son based on japanese bikes cause at the end of the day i support people on 2 wheels no matter what they ride, and I love them all.

I'm 80% of the way through building an old Kawasaki, not so much cafe but could easily be. I've lost interest and want to build a Harley now.

Me and a mate on a R1 were riding side by side, we folded out to pass a group of 10 cars in one pass, buy the time I had pased 1 car, he had taken the 10
I was on 2016 breakout stage 1 he left me standing still

That's why I try an collect em all haha. Its all horses for courses, I think I like my old Harley more than I like the R1... the R1 would definitely be first to go if I had to choose between the two of them. I've actually been thinking that down the track I'll probably sell the R1 and try and grab a 2nd hand 2016 Low Rider S, and buy another 600 for cornering duties.

Yep Harleys are not worth what they used to be. Nowadays you buy them for the ride, not for the "never depreciate" factor.

I purchased a 2007 RKC last year for the low sum of $15K. Guy purchased it with all the top options, 2 tone paint, smooth rim option, cruise control etc........ plus some extra goodies. Cost him over $37K drive away (gave me the original purchase receipt) & only done $22 000 km's on this thing. Took it for a test ride on the day, it rode perfect. It was on the market for a couple of months, I offered $15K as a start off point, thinking he would say $18K, how quick he was to say yes.

    On one hand???
I can count on one hand Harley's that handle and blokes that can ride them just on the last ride I went on with few of the nsw mob.

Was just reading gibberish like this on another forum from blokes that ride to the local coffee shop once a mth and makes out they knows everything there is to know about Harley's but never ride.Plenty of em about.

I will say again, equal ability riders , obviously the japper wins..
However the majority of jap riders these days can't ride but buys the fastest bike there is.
And I know lots of blokes that ride Harley's that can.. it's not as rare for Harley's to be passing jappers as a lot of coffee shop riders that don't get out much would think.

I'll just add, me and me mates ride bush a fair bit on rock hoppers. I have a mate that has a old early 90s model Xr600 and do you think any of us blokes can catch him on our modern CRF450s and YZ450s.

If you know anything about motorcross you would say not possible Hey?

It's the same, it's about the jokey not the horse and more importantly ,experience.

I understand most don't buy Harley's to ride hard and that's cool.
But a lot of blokes ride Harley's and do like to set them up well and ride them hard.

Just shits me when people that have no idea continue to beat the drum " Harley's don't handle" " Harley's can't be riden like that" " should buy a jap bike if you wanna go fast" bla bla fucken bla.

Apologise for going off topic wimbo. Rant over
