    Hi all,

This is probably going to sound like a dumb question but I was wondering what these 2 connectors are for that are hidden away beneath the seat and behind the battery cover of my 2013 Iron XL883N?  I was about to install my Projecta AC150 Trickle Charger loom when I saw these and I'm now curious as to what they do.

I would say the red one is +12v (not sure if its switched or live all the time though). A multimeter would answer that question.

No idea about the 3 pined one though. They should both have covers on them as well I would have thought.

A factory manual or the dealer may be of more help.

Thanks for that tussuck.  You're right, they both have covers on them (see new pic).  I've reached out to the dealer and sent them the same pics. Hopefully they can tell me what they are. The online manual makes no mention of them at all.

The single red wire one is an accessory connecter.
    Pass on the other one.

Thanks Bakes.  I'm still waiting to hear back from the Dealer but the general consensus here and through my friends network is the red one is an accessory connector with the other one being a connector for diagnostic purposes.

The Diagnostic one looks like the grey one near the nitrotyre sticker, it has a rubber type plug on it.
