hi guys my name is Liam. ive recently got my Ls and looking at getting a 500 street. so my main objective is to pick the brains of you all to gather info so i can make a decision. i have grown up riding dirt bikes and as a commuter to work and back i ride a 50cc scooter. so what do you all think of the 500 i just want something to cruise on not after great power but that can sit on a comfy speed. ive read what other people have written and it has helped somewhat but i want to know what your first hand opinion of it is. any info will greatly appreciated. thanks guys

There are a members here that have the 500, but it's a bit quiet, so you may be able to kick start it again.

He means Rockhampton, Central Queensland.

And the 500 is one of Australia's best selling bikes I think I read somewhere, so it would likely be a very good platform for the target market.

If you don't get much info from here look to the US Harley forum - hdforums.com I think is the domain name - there would be a tonne of posts over there.

Not sure. I've lived in a few and only ever heard it applied to Brissy and Rocky. It could be applied Elsewhere but tbh I wouldn't know.
