G'Day all from SA
Been browsing this forum and several others for a few years now, finally decided to register as I finally got a bike to post about.
Got a 2011 FXDWG. Did about 500kms on it already, riding around in the country. Great bike, really wants to go!
Main things I am trying to get used to is turning corners ( I am usually overshooting them) and trying not to break the speed limit in town.
Got a few niggling things I want fixed or changed - will post some pics and queries in the appropriate sub-forums.
Really love the website, and its been very helpful in researching what bike to buy and other legal, registration, insurance info as well.

Welcome, Kez. Some really good people on here (well, most of the time!). As long as you've got a thick skin and a sense of humour, you'll get on fine. Hope to see you on one of the runs. (Good one coming up at Kadina. check the SA ride forum).

Welcome KEZ Get onto the Kadina Poker Run coming up in September.
Yeah I live/from around that area. Saw there was a few bike events around here in Sept- Ride for Riley?, Lee Russack Memorial Ride. Would love to tag along. Sadly, wont be around in Sept though.
Quite a few Harleys around there area, plus a few guys i went to school with I see have bikes now too.

Welcome Kez, enjoy your ride. Keep a look out on SA rides as one of the fellas here organises an overnighter at Pt Victoria in the middle of summer, known as the "sweaty balls run". It might be a perfect opportunity to meet some of the SA crew, and a maybe few Mexicans from east of the border.
