Hi

Some advice if i could get it (thanks to those that commented on my leaking carbie) re oil changing on a 1450 HD motor

The HD factory manual i have advises there is only 1 plug to undue when draining the engine oil and thats the one that is at the base of the oil tank

I notice that theres another 1  located under the engine between the frame rails .

Why wouldnt a HD factory manual point out the fact that there is another drainage point between the frame rails .

i reckon youd get another litre of oil from from the engine by removing this drain plug - but the factory  manual makes NO reference to it (well as far as i can see it doesnt )

any advice woudl be greatly appreciated

have i missed something here ?
