Spoke to my Mech ex harley tech has all the bells and whistles and can log into the site where you can update the tuners etc ( i have no idea whats its called )

anyway he was saying he has been locked out until further notice.. he called local harley dealer they are having the same issue..
Said no more engine mods will be done until its all sorted.. This might mean if you have a stage 1 and want a stage 2 you might have to buy a aftermarket tuner ..
however aftermarket tuners might no longer be on the shelf as they also dont wanna be hit with a similar fine...
MM if you want more power might be best to buy a 110

So some folks CAN log on and update to version 10.000 Supertuner Pro

And others CANNOT ? I've heard/read similar things on other forums also...

I'm not gane to try , and will stick with version 9.000 for the moment

Agreed, wish I'd never bought T Max tuner. Biggest & most expensive POS going around. Happy with my SE tuner since fitted this time last year.

This arvo I updated to version 10.000.005 on my in home desktop.

This desktop has never been connected to a bike but I use it to save modified calibrations , whereby I put them on a USB then put that USB onto my laptop and import the cals to the file list in Supertuner pro.

I also use it to modify or import calibrations from emails before doing the same USB transfer. (I find it easier on a big screen is all with a proper mouse etc etc !)

Visually version 10 it's a bit different , commands in different places and the graphics are different , just take some getting used to.

All the non EPA "race" cals are there also , first thing I checked of course !

Laptop next , the acid test , I'm hoping it won't "lose" all those wonderful tunes built up over time , some of them I have used several times where club members have essentially the "same" bike.

If I go version 10 .000.005 on my laptop , will all of those calibrations be wiped is my question ?

Hi Retroman, I updated my laptop the other day and it did wipe all the tunes I had. Lucky I copied the folder to a different location before updating, then put the folder back after the update. Seems all good now.
