Hi guys, names case. Having an electrics issue that doesn't make sense. Had to take the air box off to replace broken breather so removed the maxi fuse as recommended only unplugged the wire going to top of air box at the same time pulled controls off bars and put on new grips including throttle body put everything back together re installed maxi fuse and no speedo, neither fuel reading or guage, odomometre not clicking over and blinker doesn't turn off after going round corner unless done manually. Have rechecked everything and all seems fine, have played with these parts of the bike numerous times before. Part of me keeps thinking back to mayebe the speedo sensor on the rear of the crankcase. Would all these things be running off the same wiring I know the speedo and blinkers are. Does anyone have any thoughts before I have to take to the shop.

All those symptoms suggest it could be a problem with speed sensor or wiring to that sensor. Try looking around there and giving the sensor a clean? Any fault codes?

    How old is the bike?

Bike is an 09muscle and have checked wiring. Bike is going to get hooked up today and run a diagnostic check maybe that'll show something. The vrods have 2 work shop manuals i have the first and the second one is for electrics but I do think speed sensor just didn't know you could clean them thought was a throw away

re used gasket between air box and injectors (looked ok) wrong error code said was air leak so brought new gasket and all problems with electrics came good. For whatever reason sucking air was screwing with sensors but $5 gasket running sweet again
