Just installed, got the 24" Kinky El Hefe, he does a specific one for the Wideglide (slightly wider). Arrived in about a week after ordering, no nonsense.. I did want chrome, but he only offers raw or powdercoat black, all the local chrome guys were making an absolute massive deal over chroming one.. so i went black! I'm mechanically challenged and was concerned after reading all of the US forums about fitting these, maybe its different on US spec bikes and other models, but on an Ozspec WG it was easy, all of the wiring terminated under the donkey dong taillight, so was a 3 min job to unplug the wires. All up took a little over an hour to fit, fits between the guard and the framerails, covers the rear guard with masking tape to avoid scratches, got 2 small shallow ones thatll buff out. I realise it wont be to everyones tastes, but for strapping a bag to, and it looks slightly factory (which I like), cost $145US + $60 shipping. Feels solid as hell.. but it just WORKS.. no buggering about.
