Running a Dunlop HD 150 80R/16 on the rear. Tell me I should get more than 12000 kms out of it. Stickler when it comes to pressures. Check before every ride. Solo running 36psi, pillion running 40 psi. Opinions anyone?

I be disappointed if 15000km was not achieved. Many different threads on here relating to tyre life brands, pressures, etc, etc.

It always surprises me when a used bike has 5 to 9k on the clock but not the standard back tyre

I run 40 psi on the back and reckon that prolongs tyre life a bit

This thread is funny... Yas all worried about longitivity... Hence the reason yas run dunlops , all they good for.

Obviously none of yas ride hard , which is cool cause if yas did yas would be changing the fuggers after first ride.

Run em on all my vechicles especially bikes and could not give a fuck about a couple of thousand ks difference wearing. When I'm on two wheels I got to have something I can trust in wet and dry.

    What do u want ????
    grip or longevity ?????
    grip, Pirelli N/D, excellent tyre.

" fck Keith, 19,000 km's, haven't got that km's out of TWO sets of tyres.
    last tyre 8,000 km's D 407, and 6,900 km's Pirelli ND.
was going to try the Michelin II, but all sold out, put on a Metzler 880, $330 fitted.
    200/55-17 on the Springer "
