Fair enough. Not just about riding hard mate, I rate dunlops as one of the most dangerous motorcycle tyres in the wet or even on very smooth tarmac in the dry that their is on the market. Tyres like oils though, everyone has an opinion.. like everyone else I can only go off my experience although it baffles me how anyone can say they a good tyre hence the reason I said thread was funny.
Just fitted a D407 after just over 9000k flat on the wear bar.(Was getting nervous in the wet!) $322 fitted at GC Motorcycles in Adelaide. (Bear in mind ,they have to drop the exhaust to get the rear axle out , to remove the rim for about $15. Good value ,I reckon!).) Those last couple of thousand k you can virtually see the tear wear in front of your eyes, especially on our shit roads. Going to be interested to see how the wear factor is after the trip to Moama and back through the Grampians. Asked plenty of blokes on the weekend what their thoughts were on tyres, and every one had a different opinion, or a favourite brand. Like arseholes, I guess!!!
