my 2005 Ultra Classic keeps cutting out.....

when it stops, the tacho goes to 3000-4000rpm & the fuel pump runs continously

i've replaced the fuel pump relay, engine position sensor, re-wired the fuel pump fuse, replaced the fuel filter & regulator.

checked all the battery connections & earths.

at a bit of a loss at the moment & slowly working thru all the wiring looking for anythink loose or corroded

any ideas or previous issues?

Maybey check the speed sensor in the tranny !! Could have metal filings on it that can cause similar sympthons.

i've also found the tab broken on the harness connector into the back of the ignition switch.

i'll order some new pins & a connector & fix that
