Thats why I asked for the departure date, I think that if I leave say 3 days ahead of him I should be right and arrive at Phillip Island WITH CRASHER.

THE UNOFFICIAL DATE FOR RACE DAY IS 18TH OCTOBER 2009, I WOULD PERSONLY LIKE AT LEAST 1 WEEK TO GET THERE, AT LEAST ATTEND SATURDAY QUALIFYING AND SUNDAY RACE DAY THEN ANOTHER WEEK TO GET HOME.

THIS IS MY THOUGHTS ANY HOW, ANY ONE ELSE HAVE ANY IDEAS???

Hey Kane theres no need to shut the thread mate.........there's a fair bit of time, 10 months, to work on it. Daz and I are planning to go over then as well, just not sure of exactly when, where and how long etc.

We intend to go up the East coast as well, and possibly take in Tassie, but as all good plans go ya never know.......Hang tight and let the pot boil...

I did this run 2 years ago with 8 or so mates and we are going again. We have a back up vehicle organized and are leaving the Saturday before. (10 October.) ride goes as follows, Kalgoolie, Madora Pass, Ceduna, Port Augusta,Adelaide, Warrnabool, Great Ocean Road, Melbourne. Arrive friday arvo. We stop at these spots so the accomadation is arranged by Vietnam Vet mates of mine and I get a chance to catch up with them. Any one wants to join us is welcome but you have to let me know 6 months before so I can book accomodation. We only go one way these days and the bikes are returned by truck and we fly home after 4 days party in Melbourne. ( Done the Nulla 14 times on the bikes so now it's 1 way PK.) The more the merryer, and if we are travelling a bit slow for you, just fuck off don't really matter does it?.( Crasher )
