Did you have what is described as the death wobble, (or similar), which is documented in some older framed touring bikes ?? Or was it a more intense wallowing through corners ??
A few guys I know swear by a stabilizer like yours, or similar for better handling, tightening up, etc, even on the later and newer models ....

One other thing,, I agree with Mickle ,, change the chrome cover on your starter motor,, cant have that ugly bastard stuck on there ,,, Cheers China .....

Mine wallows a bit in corners when pushing hard, especially on uneven surfaces

If the stabilizer restricts the movement of the engine does that reduce the effectiveness of the rubber engine mounts in stopping vibration from the motor at all?

I was really pissed with the handling on my 2013 ultra. Diving under braking, wobbles on uneven bitumen and bumpy bends. I changed the fork oil to a heavier viscosity, fitted an Alloy Art stabiliser and raised the rear shock pressure to 60psi - i usually ride with a pillion. The handling and braking have improved dramatically. Still have a little bit of tracking on ridgy bitumen but I will be ditching the rear Dunlop in favour of Michelin in a couple of weeks. Also fitting Monroe 785s.

I have now fitted the Monroe785 air shocks and a Michelin Commander II rear tyre. These mods plus fork oil and Alloy Art stabiliser seem to have pretty much sorted the ultra. Tyre pressure is really critical though - I am often at the weight limit of the bike with pillion and gear.
