Dyna - Laced Wheels - Recommendations/Suggestions

I'm looking at going away from the current chromed (laced) wheels on my 2007 Street Bob... going to black. I think I'll do satin black and not gloss, but not that the satin needs to be looked after differently and with more care. I'm also going to stainless steel spokes.

So my questions is: given that the bike is 10 years old and has done almost 100K, should I stay with the same rims or replace.

From what I can see the spokes are $120 to $250 per wheel. Probably closer to $200 per wheel is I go for plain heavier duty spokes. I believe it's also $100/rim to blast and powdercoat. Then there is the bearings and cost to remove and fit tyre.

A new laced rim costs around A$500-$600.....

So, what have people done in the past... and what brands and who distributes? Not a lot of people have after market rims for the Dyna... Front = 19x2.5 and Rear = 17x4.5 ... regarding the rear, I believe I can go to 18x5.5 which would easily fit 180/55-18 tyre

Any suggestions, recomendations? What have other people done?

I have been running an 18x5.5" with stainless spokes and a 200 tyre for about 7 years, no problems to report,
I am one that still likes the chrome rim not black
