info i found that may be of interest for people with 2016 Rushmores to look into .....
Received my letter today, the VIN range has been expanded from the initial recall. Local dealer explained to me in detail of their part in the recall and the necessity for them to have the bike overnight. Of course, it is up to the owner to follow the directive given by HD initially to determine the "safety" of your bike. To me, if it's working okay now (and it is), chances are you can ride it to the dealer for the recall procedure, when they have the parts, if needed, one the shelf ready to go. It's todays "nanny culture" world we live in.
Update 14th September: Clutch inspected, no problems noted. Carry on.
Got my recall Friday. Not showing any of the problem but needs to go in anyway.
