Hi guys, I am doing a ride through Victoria with a few work mates in late September. Most of us are experienced riders bar 1. He will be on his L plate so a question has come up about this. Being an L plater, does he have to wear a fluro vest whilst riding in Victoria? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Wazza.
This ABC article about cross border licence condition differences says that whatever applies in your home state applies when you travel. http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/2014/03/26/3972005.htm That doesn't mean that some local copper won't know about the rule change in 2013 and hassle you...
Who cares about the rules? If you got ya L plates you got ya L plates. Just like a license.
The main thing is if you go to Melbourne there are some pretty strange rules about turning right from the left hand lane when it is 2 lanes in each direction.
Well it was last time I was there anyway.
