Now the EU approved helmets are legal on Aus roads I can finally get something a little more to my stylings..

DMD are an Italian manufacturer, the Racer is a 1960-70s style MX sort of helmet, they also offer the Seventy Five which is a repop of the Bell Moto3 MX helmet, they have a take on the car racing hemets of the 70s and a couple of nice low profile open faces.

Construction is carbon fibre and.. something. Build quality is really really nice, its super comfy straight out of the box, it just fits and its super light, like crazy light. Cost about $500.
Lifts a little at the 100+ speed range, but nowhere near as bad as the Bell Bullit, has no visor but there is an optional one or I think any 3 stud visor would work, I dont own goggles so couldnt tell you if it would work.

Thats a Lowbrow helmet and they come in a lot of different colours. Also a bit cheaper I think.

I bought it through BikeExif, their store is run by one of the huge UK based bike places.
Sizing, im normally a small-medium, I got the medium and it fits really nicely, but with a little wear I am concerned it will get too loose, in hindsite a small would have been better.. but then again maybe it would be TOO small.

I understand MCA in Sydney are the importers / retailers.. theyre not up on their website but they did have them on display at Throttle Roll this year.

Tried one on on the weekend, VERY VERY nice helmet.

I think I'll grab a Rocket over the Racer though ,purely for the visor.

Its about 100x more comfy then the Bell Bullit for my head.

Hey Mow. I have the helmet in black size medium. I wanted to know if u were able to wear glasses with yours? Mine is so tight on the sides that no eyeglasses can fit.

I just saw the DMD version of the Bell 3 Moto the other day. I'm a big fan, and they also come in matte black unlike the Bell. I believe the below style is also making a comeback...
