just curious as to the dyno figures for other peeps 103 stage 4 race kits and what pipe was used.

    I got 111hp@6000 / 112tq@4000  using a  V&H big rad 2-1

Fatcat 2 into 1 give the best all round performance. There's a second hand one in the parts for sale section that is value for money if chasing the best figures for your setup.

I used the standard header pipes with S&S turbo slip ons. Had this with a 09 Fatty. 117hp, 112tq

for that extra 6hp I'll most like,y stay with the big rad it's got that custom look that a breakout needs plus can't justify the cost for a new pipe for 6hp

Id take the decent pipe for the 6 hp. 6hp is a lot when your up in the higher numbers plus you would have a better quality pipe that not every dickhead is riding around with.

Odin is spot on, another good setup.

I've only seen a couple other big rad 2-1 where I am so not common guess I'm sacrificing some hp for style ..has anyone seen any numbers for the Arlen ness mega flow f-bomb or the V&H 2-1 pro hi output

Peak dyno figures don't tell the full story.

you doing quite well bodgie with the V & H BR 2-1, spinning the breakout rear wheel up to 111hp takes a bit of effort

very happy with the 111hp was just curious as to what others were getting with same same setup but different pipes...if there was a pipe that made more but still had that custom look like the big rads id consider swapping....kinda like the arlen ness f-bomb but have no idea if it improve my figures or hurt them. i guess when you havent got the ability to sit on a dyno swapping out pipes till you find the best your better with the ones you have especially for 6hp..

ive looked at other  2-1 pipes like  rb racing, thunder header,d&d,bassani,V&H there all big $$ for 6hp increase assuming id get that extra 6 not a fan of stk headers and slipons

Dyno's are like wristwatches. They seldom tell the same time.

Sounds like your blokes dyno is running fast to get those numbers for a V&H 2-1 big radius.

It is a mystery to me but do not worry. No matter how many claimed horses and torques your bike has there will be plenty of people on lesser machines that will overtake you when you are going flat out.

What about the V & H big shots with the power chamber crossover technológy?  They do alright

The reality is the big radius 2-1 is NOT a bad pipe.
You blokes must have the 2-2 image stuck in your head ??
I recall Ando trying it on one of his 120 projects, and actually making decent numbers.
Put one on a mild 103 build a few years back, with wood TW7 cams, and it made great torque and no dip.
I think Bodgie's numbers are very genuine, and ballpark for the current Stg4 setup.

Is it the best pipe ? likely not, but it's far from the worst, and has a decent sound without being obnoxious.
A lot of the "better" aftermarket systems won't produce a torque curve as flat as his dyno sheet shows.
The Fatcat is pretty damn loud, and I've seen quite a few sheets showing a bad torque dip.
Nothing against D&D, as I'm running a Boarzilla on my 120.

If you like the look and sound of the Big radius, I wouldn't change it. The D&D looks like crap on the Breakout IMHO.

Exhaust choice is gonna be limited with the breakout.
If you're happy with look, sound and how the breakout rides with it all tuned up, don't waste anymore money I reckon.
    Ride and enjoy
