Bit of a rap here Perth Harley, 

Theres no doubt Harleys get in your blood, l bought my 14th Harley yesterday from Perth Harley, shiny new Fatboy with the 110 motor, l had been having a look online and this prompted me to ring Helen at the shop and find out the ins and outs of it, l,ve got a 2012 Road Glide that l bought from them and also a 2005 CVO Electraglide that l,ve bought privately, the CVO was in pretty good condition  inside and out , once before l asked Oliver and Helen what it was worth as a trade in on the 2012 Glide but l ended up buying the Glide and keeping the CVO, that was about 12 months ago mind you, so anyway they had a bloody good deal going at the moment with an interest rate of like 3.99% so l asked if they would trade my CVO in on a new Fatboy and what l,d get for it , over the phone l was quoted the same as they offered me 12 months ago so l jumped at it , ordered new pipes ,race tuner , burleigh bars and a s&s teardrop aircleaner cover , just cause l love em, anyway the deal was done with the low interest rate and l took the CVO in to give to them and pick up the Fatty, they got the vin numbers and stuff off the CVO and the deal was all good , until Helen puched the info into the computer and told me that the bike was originally sold by Gold Coast Harley and had been written off, it thought no way its in great condition and the guy l bought it off seemed pretty genuine, well as it turned out he was full of shit ,never mentioned a word to me , l had the bike for a few years and never new until then, so here l am standing in the show room thinking this isnt good obviously this is going to be a deal breaker, after Helen showed me l thought ok  l,ll take the CVO home , after all its still a great bike, Helen said hang on l,ll ring the boss, now l,ve had a bit to do with Oliver in 3 different states of australia , he,s not a bad bloke , but he is running a business and is a business man after all, l thought that would be it, anyway Helen came back and said we are going to do our ass on this but we are going to honour the deal anyway, fuckin beauty l thought. So l just wanted to let people no that there is at least one good  dealers around, after all l,ve bought bikes off 7 diferent ones and Perth Harley would have to be one of the best.     Buy the way l have no interests in Perth Harley apart from buying bikes off them.

Always pleasing to read a good story about a dealer.

Well done to both sides.

They will have trouble selling that CVO now....

But that is why a REVS check ( now PPRS ) is always a good thing to do.

Good to here they stuck by the original deal, check prior to purchase is a must on private sales.Congarts on the purchase of the new Fatty.

Yerr l think they can sell it no worries, but have to disclose that it has been a right off, and l,m sure if someone was looking for a good cheap bike it would be a good buy, but just goes to show you cant trust anyone these days, most blokes that ride bikes are pretty good that way,but theres always a bad apple

On our recent around Oz trip we had services done on our bikes at Perth Harley and they where good to deal with and way cheaper
for services than Harley Heaven in Melb, I would be out to wring that cunts neck and take back a few bob you handed over for the CVO.

You have a good out come there than strange thay have said its been written off as once it's on the written off list
It can never be regoed or insurances again , But that can be diffrant in each state maybe it was classed as a repairable
Wright off minor damage but in saying that somtimes that's enough to be written off , Makes you wonder
How many other bikes/cars are out there than in this situation,
