Hi guys, has anyone fitted S&S 583 cams? Is it worth doing?

Yes. Ran them in my last bike 2010 fatty lo. Fitted them at 80000km and ride hard and strong till I traded it at 96600km.
Made good torque. .worth it even if ya not doing heads. As a cheap power chase.

Was there considerable torque increase? Range 1500-5000rpm? Are they roughly $600 + fitting? Thanks

I had the 585's and loved them, in a 106 however so had slightly higher comp. they had good torque from 2200 and on so yes if you want higher torque at lower rpms go the 583's
