Hi guys, just put a deposit down on a 2010 883 for comuting short trips, got v&h pipes, tune, air cleaner and forward controls on it. 

Thought I'd say hi and also let any Sydney guys with an 883 know I'm looking for the standard controls or will swap my forwards for their standards.

Hi welcome, around town Mids are good long rides forward are good, I ride my 883 from Sydney to Canberra and have mid-controls sometimes the arse gets a bit sore.

In case people don't read the intro section, post your swap of controls on the model-sportster section or even the parts for sale section. You should find someone as I'd have thought there are always people wanting to get forward controls. For commuting, mids with highway pegs to stretch out on longer trips would be good unless you're too tall for mids.
