    I have a Heritage Softail, built 11 / 1992.  Looking for a support bracket so I can fit a different filter.  Every thing i have found is either for up to 1991,  or 1993 on.   No mention of "92".   Does any one know first hand if 92 and 93 are the same.  Must be some reason why there is no mention of 1992.... I know that when I search an on line OME parts list, the picture of the OME backing plate looks nothing like what is on there now, same for pictures in both the manuals that I have bought.....I allso know that its the time they swiched from crankcase venting to head venting,,,,,,,

Apparently you are to pay no attention to the date stamped on the compliance plate, or the date on the redgo papers.

The correct date of manufacture is in the Vin no, you need the code breaker that I have attached to this post,,just in case it is of use to any one.

only differance is pre 1991 have 5/16" unc blind threads in da heads for  air cleaner support with a bottom crankcase breather  & 1992 & up are 1/2" unc threads that are da top end engine breathers also that should not be blocked off @ all  cheers Bob

What bob said , I have a Arlen ness big sucker on one of my bikes which I got of a forum member
Which was on a late model dyna which is now on on a 90 evo engine even though ones efi and tc
Thay still have the same bolt pattern .  Tb to cv carb
