Bills are shutting the doors . The one on South Rd is closed , forever .The one on Main North Rd is quitting pants ,jackets , helmets, boots both motocross and road , for near cost ! Grabbed some boots for $130- , $200- at the closest shop down the road . Heaps of textile jackets and pants . Won,t last long , think administrators will close doors any day . Very sad for staff as they have all lost their jobs .

Jeezuz..............seems like the new owners are in a bind. Bloody shame for the staff as you say, Tim. I've dealt with them since I bought my first Goldwing in 1994. Still have it, for the record. smiley

I got a couple pairs of water proof gloves, 2 sets of wet weather coveralls and a battery for the wife's spyder
    got some good savings

mate had a bike in there for sale, was sold about 6 weeks ago (before administration), he has been ringing twice a week, guy busy or not in, told they would ring back, never did
receiver rang today, his money now is in their hands, he is now an unsecured creditor and at the end of the money tree

I had a similar situation happen when Andy from Attitude motorcycles passed away and the buisness was taken over by administration officials. Those companies are total pricks as I know for a fact that with the CNC machines, lathes and other serious equipment and inventory there was more than enough to pay out his employees ( his son, apprentice and part time mechanic) as his other overheads were practically nothing as his shop was built under his house. I had paid upfront for around $2000 worth of parts while I had the money and many other customers had a bunch of cash out tied up in jobs and no one saw a cent. After his heart attack the liquidators seized all funds, goods and the parts that were waiting at customs were in effect in limbo as the buisness was unable to operate to even take delivery of the goods that had landed. Sucks that the liquidation companies are such leeches and don't give a fuck about the flow on effect their penny pinching has on people that have paid for parts and labor that they'll never see.

I drove past there today on the way home and all their signage has been removed. Sad to see a well established business go down.

Thanks a lot global financial meltdown! Incredible how much the effect trickles down through SO many
Industries and males it impossible for many businesses to stay afloat.

There was a great bloke that used to run a shop out of his backyard in Melbourne's Sth eastern burbs called YAMAWRECK, he's now passed away and all the stock and bikes are still there and family is slowly selling up stuff through the guys (can't for the life of me remember his name) son. I sold him my first bike - an SR500 - and bought a VS750 and it was a real life fantasy land for rare and general parts that were always sold at a really really good price and as much obscure info about every Yamaha known to man off the top of his head.
