So, fitted and first trip with the new windsplitter on today. Not a huge trip but Geelong to Clifton Springs with a bit of a head wind. I was impressed with the difference the screen made. It took a lot of wind away from the top of my body and also my head. The little flip open jigger on the screen actually does make a difference. With it closed I could feel the wind hitting my head harder than with it about half open. Pushed the bike up to about 130 which prior to the screen was just about blowing me off the back of the bike. Not now, sat quite comfortably. I am only about 185 cms but I dont think you would want to be too much taller and using this screen. In my opinion it could be a little higher, even for a short arse like me. I found myself looking over the top of the screen and not through it, which I think is the way it should be anyway.  I did notice that wind was now coming up between the bottom of the screen and the headlight now too  can't have it all but it wasn't annoying enough to worry about

Overall though I think it did quite a good job, and will serve the purpose it was purchased for (long rides)

Yeah I like the look of those Shark helmets, a friend has one and loves it. May have to try one. I had a run of the mill open face on yesterday when I tested the screen as it gave me the best indication re buffeting. I have a full face and will give that a run soon.
