Just bought these highway pegs and mounts from China, (ebay), the other day for $127 delivered ... Good and sturdy , and should do the job ...

I've bought the odd piece of bling from China , (or Hong Kong)..  I might be lucky, as all has stood the test of time..  Personaly , I would be wary of electronic stuff .. That being said, the fuckers are more  advanced than us in the manufacturing caper !!!!

Well I'll be fucked,, I must have bought the upside down ones !!!!!

Got a pair of cheaper (not so cheap) foot pegs for a sprtsbike a few years back - they looked shit hot. I was driving out of a carwash a week later (thankfully low speed) and the right one snapped in half. The "metal" looked like crumbly swiss cheese underneath. I ripped off the other peg and wacked it with a hammer a few times and sure enough that one was shit too, though not as bad. When it comes to bikes your life is on the line, so if it's vital, fuck the cheap shit.

I'm with bonkerz. I'll only buy stuff direct from Chinese sellers on ebay if it's for stuff that really doesn't matter like indicator lenses. Anything to do with safety and I'm happy to spend more on reputable parts from reputable sellers
