Jack 4th on the grid tonight

Miller, who started from the fourth spot on the grid from the second row, made a good start and managed to stay within the leading group for several laps. However, as he was third almost halfway through the race, the Australian could not defend his position in the final laps, dropping back into sixth place after he was overtaken by Bagnaia a few corners from the finish.
After the German GP, Miller remains in third place in the overall standings, just one point ahead of fourth-placed Bagnaia. At the same time, Ducati and the Ducati Lenovo Team occupy second place in the constructors' and teams' standings.

Jack who?  Not a shit show in hell he will be in a factory team with such mediocre riding.  Time to retire and let the upcoming AU/NZ riders onto a good ride.

Yes have to agree, thought that with the top tier bikes he would have stepped up a notch or two but has been lacklustre to say the least on some occasions. I know he's had the odd mechanical or electronic hiccup but still not a good showing. He's been whining about the factory having him on a year by year contract but they aint silly....

"I've never done a race without passing one single person in my entire life. That for me is a massive blow," said a dejected Jack Miller after finishing the Argentine MotoGP, where he had started it, in 14th place.
"It doesn't feel good. We are all working extremely hard now to understand what the issues are and to try and find a solution as quickly as possible."
The factory Ducati star had been third fastest in free practice before a qualifying fall, and penalty for holding up Fabio Quartararo, demoted him to the fifth row of the grid.
17th in warm-up was a further sign of troubles to come during the race, when Miller suffered from a chronic lack of front-end confidence in his Desmosedici.
Suffering 'moments' whenever he strayed from the optimum grip of the thin racing line, Miller spent most of the 24 laps starring at the back of Miguel Oliveira's KTM.
Not quite ready for the retirement village yet IMO.

I dont think its unfortunate at all, Ducati want to see their bikes at the pointy end of the field and if Martin can do it for them thats what any factory or team would do, play your best players.

Agreed ,but Jacks an Aussie and I like to see Aussies do well.

We all do, but if your happy to stump up multi millions of dollars to see him cruise around not getting results simply because he's an Aussie the factory doesnt care. Lets get the best riders on the best bikes and if that happens to be a Aussie that would be great, and at this moment Jacks feeling the blowtorch to perform and rightly so.
