P1 done, Jack 6th at +.686 only .096 behind Quartararo who was 3rd, see what changes in P2 between them, Alex was fastest after falling off and grabbing the second bike, mad track.

Well Jack parked his Yamaha in the bushes in practice 2....13th and going to struggle to get higher grid position.

    Why will he struggle?

Its very difficult to come thu the Q1 in the first two places to get into q2 and even if you end up last there your still 12th on the grid. He ultimately never got thru and is 14th on the grid.

I don't think that's why he struggles, Quartararo has got into the groove, this track helps the yammies cause, looking forward to the main race, bet Alex crashes some poor sod out.

Well sprint done and run...fabio tried to hard to keep Ducati honest and crashed out and a few laps later Jack did the same and parked it in the bushes. First 6 bikes were Ducati again.

I was hoping for an upset but nup, yammie say they will run the v4 this year as a wildcard entry if testing proves it will beat the inline 4's, might be the most interesting part of the season if they do.

I think I'll start a petition to have Dan Riccardo take over the #43 seat.  He could not fuck it up any worse.

I have said before that i have no idea why he wanted to stay in Moto GP on that bike. Cruising around at around a second a lap slower than the leaders not sure that even that data is helpful to the full factory boys....anyway lets see what happens.

Well no luck for Jack...circulated around 6th for several laps then started to slip back to 11th then withdrew the bike for what appears to be a wiring issue.

Quartararo did a good job on his Yamaha, even if Marc had not crashed out he would of got 3rd at worst as Bags couldn't round him up.

Fabio rode very well indeed, had to get enough lead before the straight to hold the Dukes out down the straight.

The Austrian factory has shut down again — less than two months after reopening — due to parts shortages and unpaid suppliers.
Over AU $4.8 billion in debt looms over KTM’s head, and they’ve got just weeks (until May 23) to cough up nearly AU $900 million or risk collapse.
Production is stalled, suppliers are cautious, and even dealers don’t know what’s coming next. Not sounding good at all.
