Well Peco did everything he possibly could but ultimately fell short....huge shout out to Martin he really is a deserving champ this season. Ducati must be pissed with him taking the #1 plate off to his new gig at Aprillia next season. Jack ended up 14th for the season with nothing points wise between Binder and Acosta in 5th and 6th overall. Today ourtime Jack gets his first ride on a Yamaha, Martin on a Aprilia and Marc on a factory Ducati....going to be a interesting dynamic at Ducati next season.

That was a good race... I liked Moto 3 better though.

I have moved on from Miller now and going for Stoner or some of the young gun Kiwi/Aussy riders coming up through the ranks

Just watching the trial of the teams and the new 2025 bikes including Jack on the Yamaha and Martin on the Aprillia. Jack does not look very confident at all on the Yamaha but early days. Mir has already binned a brand new $3million 2025 factory Honda.

Fair few bikes hit the deck during the tests. Jacks first ride was cautious and he ended the day in 22nd position over 2 sec of the pace.

So the future of Moto Gp is looking very interesting with Suzuki announcing their return to both Moto Gp and superbike competition in the near future. Not sure they would be re entering with their older tech bike or wait till the new rules come into effect and rejoin, but either way they're in.  Also BMW have also made noises about joining Moto GP after winning the WSBK series.....lets hope both join and who knows if this spurs Kawasaki to have a close look.

Some murmurs going on that KTM as a company are struggling financially at the moment and wont contest either moto 2 or moto 3 next season. Same staff layoff at the factory as well. Moto GP team is definitely confirmed though.

Harley couldn't win the baggers series this yr , only saving grace was a Aussie was the pilot of the winning bike.

Sorry not motorcycle related but automotive related....Nissan has stated they have less than 12mths of funds left after Renault walked away from the current platform share arrangements. Honda of all people are sniffing around the crumbs...

Ktm have their new bike ready but people are questioning if they have the budget to spend considering the current state of the company. They have indicated they may have to relook at the long term plan for 2027 when a whole new era starts with smaller engines etc. Could this be the end of KTM...

Unreal how a company with such a market share can get into this predicament.

I guess that it comes back to profitability. They are trimming the Moto Gp staff, engineers as well. Got rid of most the management at head office to save a quid too.

Read somewhere that some of the backers are calling to sell all the satellite companies off, MV, husky etc, they got till Feb to show they are solvent or she's toast, they fucked themselves with CF a bit, too many QC problems, the trust is gone.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if CF Moto doesnt take a bigger stake here....don't forget that CF Moto are the 2024 moto 3 world champs and if they take a bigger financial input that might give them a easy pathway to Moto Gp via the intellectual property.

Autosport is reporting that KTM’s bosses have decided to pause the development of their MotoGP bikes until the Sepang pre-season tests due to their debts, which are thought to be in the region of €3 billion
