Well done to Jack for a great 3rd place in USA GP. Ran out of tyre halfway through but able to cling on to 3rd

Yeah it’s a pity they’re all forced to run the same crappy tyre from Michelin, there’s no competition so I’m not convinced Michelin are putting in their best effort.

Its the same manufacturer but the compounds and tyre construction do offer some variety

probably his best ride on a dry track, it'll give him a lot of cofidence in the next few races

Was a good race, and he did well biding his time.
Hopefully he gets a factory ride next season.

Deal is done with his existing team for a factory bike. He is currently on a factory bike now

I know he has the 2019 frame, but I'm not sure it is a full factory bike like Dobbie is running Paul

Not this year as he missed the cut.
He needs to start landing 3rds to 5th places to be in with a chance. (And Remy needs to pull finger too!)

Guys he does have a factory bike this year and next. The difference is that the official Ducati team gets to try upgraded parts before the satellite team does, data etc is available from each team to the other

Quoting ralphski on 07 Aug 2019 09:36 AM

    :-) :-)  again, it's not a full factory ride

as with all other factories, simple

So enlighten us Ralphski as to why its not

Full factory teams have the extra resources to analyze data that the satellite teams can't afford
Most, if not all upgrades go to the factory riders well before satellite teams.
Some upgrades may never get to the satellite teams
Maybe 95 % of wins in the last 2 years have been won by factory teams…..why ? maybe better riders, better resources etc etc etc.
And maybe, the factories don’t like their riders being beaten by satellite teams :-)
    Very simple really

Ralphski they bike he rides is the same spec as the official Ducati team in EVERY respect. As i pointed out in the earlier reply and you have just reiterated the upgraded parts etc go to the factory boys first to try but contrary to your remark they get the parts very quickly.
As for the teams with factory bikes there is a huge difference in budgets and resources resulting in the best riders ending up in the best teams, we are not talking teams but the bikes they are given by the factory, and Jack currently has two and next season will continue with a further two current factory bikes

He won't be getting Petruci's spot but Ducati want him competitive, I don't reckon there would be much between Pramac and the factory rides.
It's gr8 to see at the Czech GP the only guy willing to sit on the grid ready to go was Jack again. Tough as nails that boy..

My Guess, and i state guess is it will remain as is. I would think that the money he thinks he is worth will kill the deal

    Watch the race!!
was just checking Jack had the second fastest speed 310.3KPH Mark was fastest speed with 311KPH Jacks team mate & the Ducati factory bikes had a few KPH slower speeds. the speed tell's he has the power, just has to be able to use it.

Considering Jack's motorcycling history, he's a bloody marvel. Best thing to come out of Townsville since the Bruce Highway.

It’s all on tonight, they couldn’t possibly replace Jack with the 10 pin bowler Lorenzo. Come on Paulo give him the papers.
