No its a possible Ducati Superbike gig with Warhorse HSBK team. My $5 is still on WSBK if he doesn't get a gig in Moto gp

So further part of the puzzle has been slotted in....Pramac Ducati has bent over and took Yamahas money and will be a satellite team for Yamaha next season.

Some pretty bold predictions from Jack about how he would go on the Gresini bike.

I guess you have to talk yourself up....  no one else will; esp. with the massive talent pool in moto2 and 3

Agree, i don't believe hes going to get a decent bike in Moto GP....he's missed his opportunity on factory bikes to really stamp his mark.

Well Jack didn't set the world on fire, and in fact i never even saw him at any stage during the sprint race, 13th and nearly 19sec behind the winner.

Any truth to the rumour that Jack might get a seat in Yamaha's second squad? Apparently they will be the same spec bikes as the first squad, no senior junior deal.

There's been no link with Jack so far about a Yamaha  gig, the sad reality is that he's just not performing on a far better factory bike than the Yamaha so perhaps brings little value to the table.

What will be interesting is will Ducati be giving Pramac the latest data to the current championship leader now that Pramac are switching to Yamaha next season and the potential world champ is headed to Aprilia....

Well Remy Gardner has got a wildcard ride on the factory Yamaha this weekend Moto Gp.

Good for Remy... not convinced he is the caliber they need but heck make the most of the opportunity - he can hardly fuck it up any worse than Miller and they do need an AU/NZ rep in the pack.

Yes I will, but I'm a bit old for it now.  Had a bloody ball in my youth taking the FXR around Mansfield in NZ.  Me and a mate used to have some good fights!

Umm not sure Miller would want to be part of this...its really a full time development gig trying to get the Yamaha up to speed but hey hes over 18 so makes his own decisions.

Watched Remy in practice 1 on that Yamaha..he was steady as expected. He was second slowest with the second slowest top speed and around 2.5 sec a lap slower than the fastest guys but less than a second slower than the other factory Yamaha ridden by a ex world champ. Jack was midfield in 11th around a second per lap from pole. He was 3rd from 4 KTM bikes. Only practice 1.

Yes it is but you get to ride it flat out in Moto GP where as if the alternative is you don't get to ride in Moto GP which one will you pick if Moto GP is your thing? He might score something else but they don't seem to be beating down the door.

Cant talk for Jack but i would prefer to prolong my career in WSBK on a competitive bike selling tons of merch and getting paid a truckload than busting my arse as a development rider just to say i am riding moto gp but running at the lower end of the field. He needs to recognise that his best opportunities to win the championship in moto gp have now gone. Factory rides are the pinicile, he's had a few and success has evaded him. The x factor could be the new rule change in the future but i would say that the current front running brands are going to be all over that. Anyway lets see what he can wrangle.

Well a crashathon in practice 2....luckily not for Jack but one for Remy. Jack didn't finish in top ten so now has to try improve his grid position in the Q1 .
