Just watching the race now....  Bloody awesome tactics from Miller, no way he can go backwards in the pack now!

At least you got to watch it.
It seems that full race replay and live tv websites aren't showing the races this year.

I am away overseas but watched it via a VPN from My Foxtel account. Nothing for free available via tv etc for Moto Gp anymore...big business now.

F1 is big business too, but I can still watch it on tv and the web for zilch.
I suspected this was going to happen when they sent out a worldwide survey last year

the free to air Australia channels have been offered the rights but have chosen to not pay the asking price as There is such a small audience here . They need to sell ads throughout the broadcast to help underwrite the cost. Sadly it's profits over everything now days.

Jack has got to pick up his game big time to keep the factory gig...Acosta had a great ride in his first GP

Watched Jack lead the sprint race for a few laps then progressively fall back during the race. At least he stayed on for 5th place. Good to see a Aprilia win a race as well.

Watched the rookie KTM young gun ride/slide to third on the podium last night. This kid is very talented and not afraid to serve it up to current and former world champs. Both factory KTM bikes finished behind him.

Moto GP has been sold to Liberty Media, the same company that owns F1. Already there are talks of lowering the capacity to 800/900cc motors , no shape adjusters , no lowering devices and no aero. Think some of us remember what happened last time we went down the path of smaller motors....
Reasons sighted for expected changes revolve around safety and the fact that the bikes are now doing 350kph regularly and have been up very close to 364kph and tracks need more modification's to accommodate bigger run offs etc.

    Bring back the NSR 500's

I wish.....traction control was your right hand, aero was a chocolate bar, brakes at the end were very good and the racing was fantastic. Bring them back!

Can't say I've watched a full race since they canned Two Strokes. I'm unable to get the enjoyment out of watching these new bikes anymore, also their riding style does my head in. Sticking the leg out as they enter a corner just doesn't seem right.

You have deprived yourself of some very exciting racing by not having a little look. Although the sticking out of a leg looks somewhat strange it does serve a purpose. Braking from 350kph with the rear wheel off the deck , with no abs then seamlessly transfering that to a 68 degree lean angle mid corner to firing it out of the corner with the rear spinning up lap after lap.....respect. Riders like Jorge Martin now drag their upper arm and shoulder thru the corners.

Will agree that these guys have the balls and the skills to ride at those speeds and the reason for the leg out but I do miss the old oil burners. Have a feeling that I'm still stuck in the 70's and 80's.

Bmw have now shown a interest in going Moto gp racing....perhaps starting in a feeder class then moving on to the big bikes?
