I take my hat off to Jack. May be a bit different, but has loads of talent and decent values. I find his personality refreshing. He does a terrific job of representing Australia at the top level in a very competitive group.  Not sure why he attracts continued negativity from some here.

I hope he ends with a competitive ride in his new home, he can ride, hard on tyres but he can carry speed, fearless in the wet, man has his own style and the men that call him friend show his calibre.

I kind of give him a hard time because at that level and pay-grade your expected to hit it out of the park.
90% of us mere mortals would have been sacked from our day jobs already of our performance was so lacklustre.
When your paid that much to deliver and your lucky enough to score a factory team ride - then the excuses just stop.....

There has been a bit of discussion about the 2022 Ducatis and whether the 2021 bikes are in fact better than them.
Not open and shut, but the guys on the 2021 bikes do pretty well, including Jack last year.
The tyre selection seems to be much more critical, and a bit of a raffle, on the 2022 bike.

I struggled a bit to like him initially but he's really grown on me over time. He's obviously got talent and pace, he's just having a bit of a hard time finding the sweet spot at the moment. I only wish for him to do well and hope he can before the end of the season and now into the future with KTM.

He came back to Australia and raced the final round of the Australian Superbike championship last year. Raced a basically street Ducati and placed second for the round. From watching on the tele he was just a typical knockabout Aussie, laughed and shit stirred with the other riders like he was just one of them and not thinking he's above them because he's a MotoGP rider. He also seemed pretty keen to do it again this year if he is able to.

Be interesting to see what Jack can squeeze out of the RC16, he has 2 years to help sort that bikes window.

Sorry to rain on the parade but this season was his best ever to get the results. This is not about personalities or morals or any other personal traits its about consistently winning races or at worst getting on the podium for the brand your employed to ride for.
Ducati has the most bikes in the field and get the most amount of data to get the best from the bikes every race. KTM dont have the same data capacity but could be argued act quicker to implement a change than Ducati. I see this ride as a downgrade but still think he can produce the odd smokey next season.

Reading a bit of disgruntled static coming out of the Duke camp PB, I mean I'm not privy to their internal workings, perhaps you are?

Jack needs to harden up a bit, stop being such team playing good guy and get hungry.
I reckon he thought Ducati would see how he was helping Bagnaia and look where it got him with those disloyal pricks.
Get on it Jack and join Petrux at Dakar.

Danilo now rides superbikes for Ducati in USA in AMA. There is little place for loyalty in any form of motorsport.

You're right there PB, my point exactly about Jack playing the team game.
Second row is good for him, shame about the long lap BS but it won't faze him.
Actually I hope he gets to have a crack at the Finke before Toby retires, lol.

Dont think Jack would see what direction Toby went on the dirt and the reverse on the tar. Long lap tonight has killed any chance of a decent position for him.
