thought I would share this one I lent a mate Roady last weekend and a rock flung up from a bike infront smashing one of the Glass lenses on the recently fitted DAY MAKER LED Lights So I set out to see if I could repair. lucky I kept the original headlight set up after I installed the Day Maker. with a heat gun I was able to remove the headlight cover from the old head light and after some slight mods and digging out the old Glass from the Day maker I managed to silicone it in. Now its a Perspex cover compared to the Glass cover of the other one but it come up acceptable I think
Could even say you did him a favour, I think perspex is actually (technically) clearer than glass, or lets more light through or something....
Just might melt once you turn them on!!!
