The engine light comes on as per usual on turning ignition on....then goes off as per usual....then 5 sec's later, comes on....then 5 sec's (approx)   goes off & stays off. Does this even if you've started the motor after it goes off the  1st time.......Stays off then & doesn't come on when riding.

          I'll keep riding it till the next service, or if it comes on when riding.....then get it looked at. Anybody else had this paticular problem or have any ideas?

I know that mine has always come on for a few seconds after starting. Never actually timed it but long enough to notice.
