Hi all. I have a 2014 Deluxe with the ABS brakes. The floorboards have never really been my ride. I want to convert to fwd controls but I,m finding it impossible to get a kit. Also I get conflicting advice about the ABS . Has anyone out there done this kinda switch and if so how. Any help much appreciated.

Tony, I changed my Road King years back. I don't have ABS. I used a J&P kit. Don't like boards much and the forward controls are as comfortable as. I do have a rider backrest too.

I used a set of stock forward controls off a 2012 softail standard on my 2012 fatboy and i didnt even to touch the brake master, other than unbolt from the board mount and put it on the peg mounts.
No bleeding. Took less than an hour.
If you want something billet, or extended, you will need to change brake lines to suit.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I,lol drop down to MCA on the weekend and see what they have locally. Got a lot of conflicting advice because of the ABS. I had a Fat Bob prior to this and did extended controls with a j&p kit and same thing, took about an hour.
