I will be returning to alice springs hopefully in the next few months, have lived there for 15 years.... your ride would have been awesome In buying my bike we have machanics but in alice the expertise is in the dirt racing
Forgot to mention China was there too....
Sorry to leave ya out ,is that better ol mate lol
I have 2 CVO's , both bought second hand. One an "import" 2008 CVO Springer and the other a 10 month old 2013 CVO Breakout bought by me after the crash of Perth's "Mining Boom".
On both the first buyer had borne the brunt of depreciation , and both are probabaly still worth today what I paid for them... Finish wise they are way better than "stock" bikes , and you need to spend nada on bling , not a red cent ! The 110 motors well enough. My 2008 CVO Springer would consistently outrun my mates 2011 Streetglide with a stage IV in it NO WORRIES Maybe not really a fair model/model comparison , but it's the only stage 4 I've I've knowingly run against on multiple occasions. On another occasion , a Perth "club run" , there was a 2011 Wide Glide with a stage 4 , 240 rear conversion etc etc , cost WAY more than my 2008 CVO , and he did not pass me ( and he was tryin'!) so there you go ! MOST importantly , a "used" stage 4 makes NO DIFFERENCE at all to the value of the bike , none nada zilch. My mate found this out when trading the same 2011 Streety I already mentioned. Any CVO will ALWAYS be a CVO , whatever the model. When new here in Oz they were a wanking dear price , but the US imports brought the price down to closer to "stock" bike prices
