hey mates, love my Road K but wish it was an inch lower ! For some reason it is higher than most of the other Harley's. I don't want to spend a gazillion dollars so what is a cheap and effective solution? Would the Profile low touring shocks be worth it?? Appreciate any advice....

There's a lowering kit for sale in the parts for sale section. Can lower 1-3 inches or similar. Cheap and easy way of doing it

If you mean those "lowering blocks" whereby you bolt a piece of steel on and can move the angle of the standard shocks backwards to effectively lower the bike ..... I tried those. Very cheap and effective in lowering the bike. Problem is (a) they do have a negative effect on the quality of the ride and (b) they scratch and damage the inside of the panniers. I had them on for a few weeks and .... nope .... not a good solution for the Road King, specially when riding two up with a full load. The suspension effect was lousy.... cheers P

I have a 1" Lowering Blocks on My Street Glide and very happy with it, I can touch the ground now , The mufflers have scraped going down drive ways some times but it would do that without the Lowering Blocks. I used the LA Choppers version. Cornering your Floor Boards would Scrap way before your Bags Lowered or not

Road King has 13" shocks, maybe try some Street Glide shocks at 12"

I've got some lowering blocks somewhere if you're after some. Never fitted. PM me if you're interested.
